TransArmorSM Solution Features
- Asymmetric public/private key encryption—provides security at the point of sale and during data transmission to the processor
- Random number tokenization—the payment card number is replaced with a randomly generated number, called a token, which can not be used by an unauthorized party to conduct fraudulent transactions
- For existing and future business needs, the token number can be used in place of the cardholder number within your systems eliminating the risks of storing actual card data

The TransArmorSM solution, developed in partnership with RSA, a global leader in information security, is an easy-to-implement, service-based solution that encrypts sensitive cardholder data and then removes it completely from your environment, protecting your customers’ sensitive information and limiting your liability.
The solution protects vulnerable data in transit with state-of-the-art encryption and removes the need for you to store card data by replacing it with a randomly generated number, called a token, which can be used for other business processes such as returns, chargebacks, recurring payments, sales reports, analytics or marketing programs. However, the token cannot be used by an unauthorized party to conduct a fraudulent transaction.
